Today Morgan and I got put into a breakout room with Mr. Wagoner and Mr. Snell to discuss the stem project. Together we looked over the rubric and then talked about what Morgan and I could do. So far, we have been unsure and confused with what exactly is going on but we got a piece of mind and a clear plan for what “research” we could do. Research does not necessarily mean reading an article but could be more interactive like camping out at a stop sign and recording how many times and for how long each car comes to a stop, looking into gas emissions, and other data collection. The class talked about getting in touch with outside contacts as it is also apart of the rubric and Morgan gave the idea for her dad to be a guest speaker to talk about automotive. It will be very interesting to see what he can suggest!
