Due to weather the class was on zoom today. The teachers asked everyone what we are working on/what kind of progress we are making. Even though my focus has been on the STEM project recently, I have begun to look into ideas for my own personal project. I shared the angular bathtub idea with Mr. Winn and Wagoner and I think they liked it. Mr. Wagoner started to share other ideas on how we could use pressure sensors to fuel energy. An example being to install pressure sensors somewhere is the school stairs and then anytime someone steps on them, they are fueling energy that could be sent into lightbulbs or something else. He then started discussing with Mr. Winn thermal energy and the use of a thermal heat sensor. I think this is a very interesting idea that could be expanded into multiple directions!
