As a continuation from yesterday and the ideas that Morgan shared. A big one that could benefit our newly adapted world in relation with COVID, is a mask created for people who wear glasses that prevents them from fogging up. The closest I have ever experienced to this discomfort is wearing a mask with safety googles and it is quite frustrating constantly having to readjust in order to see. Morgan then shared one of her own ideas which works with the Waze traffic navigation app. It notifies a driver of near-by police, accidents, traffic, etc; however, when the alert appears on the screen, the driver must either press “dismiss” or “not there” themselves or wait 30 seconds for the notification to clear the screen. This system basically defeats the intention of keeping your eyes on the road. Her plan was to create a way that the message could be dismissed by using voice activation. Again, a very interesting and practical idea!
