Today I got the chance to chat with Morgan after she meet with the stem project group and discussed their ideas. She told me of the ideas that Mr. Wagoner mentioned specifically a four-way stop sign. Often times, I come to a stop/red-light and have to wait for a minute even though there are absolutely no cars in sight. By constantly coming to a unnecessary stop, the car is wasting fuel but with a four-way stop, it will detect when there is only one near car and the stop sign will then change to yield sign and the car can continue their movement without stopping. I think this is a very interesting yet practical idea and can serve a great benefit for the community.
