Looking back at my blogs I forgot about my research into the Lexus Hoverboard! It was very interesting to look back at it and actually understand the terms and concepts that I didn’t a few months ago! Pictured below are the slides I created today as I tried to trim down the information about the hoverboard to fit onto one slide. The other two slides are the notes I had taken throughout my research thus far and how my project moved from focusing on magnetic shopping carts to electromagnets to electrical and magnetic fields and finally to the Lexus hoverboard and superconductors. The creation of the hoverboard involved magnets and liquid nitrogen cooling superconductors. What are superconductors you ask? The last slide summarizes just that.
