As a continuation from yesterday’s snow day, we were on zoom today, and it was quite interesting! Mr. Snell gave a very unique perspective on technology by asking where is the line where technology becomes too much. It is already seen in our world today as people are consumed by the newly evolving ideas to make their lives “simpler” but aren’t they already? He shared the thought that eventually technology will take over jobs and the variation would be minimum as people will go to school for the same things since the world will be electronic. I think that people need a reminder of what life is without technology. Though it may be convenient but looking on there internet there are such bizarre things targeted for the evolving audience that is consumed by a screen.
After this conversation, it made me realize that people need to be reminded what it feels like to be alive. With my ideas, the intention is to make lives easier but not take over skills that people need to know how to do with their own hands and not have done by a machine.
