Continuing from yesterday, I wanted to look into things that people have 3D-printed that serve a very practical purpose. I found the video linked below and let me tell you I didn’t expect half of these possibilities!! A reoccurring idea was a cast that a person is able to shower with which is much more convenient then putting on that tough plastic cover over a cast and struggling to get it off. Another cast uses ultrasound to heal bones faster! I wonder how that works. Among the may fascinating ideas, one man 3D his face for a halloween party and it made me realize that is how Jared Leto’s 2019 met gala look was created.
