Todays post is a continuation from yesterday. Members from DaVinci are very familiar with OnShape which is a computer-aided design program that allows you to blueprint the design of an object before 3D-printing it. It’s crazy to think that you can print anything you want! I have never used it before so I don’t know my way around the site but my classmate Anthony was a big help! He helped me create an account and then create the magnetic box carrier that was supposed to be used in the impromptu experiment. (Yesterdays post) I do not have any screenshots of what we made because I deleted it since it was unneeded. I am still not confident with OnShape but before making any progress in the 3D-printed manure catcher, I want to experiment with the printer and come up with random designs before creating something solid.
