Today I brainstormed object that I could print on the 3D-printer. I came up with creating a name tag that goes on a desk such as the one pictured below or even a clipboard for something larger! Again, the possibilities are endless.
For the second part of class I went to YouTube to watch videos related to buggy’s and their horses in order to gain background knowledge. I didn’t have much time so I only got to one video but it was very educational. It discussed how to attach and detach a diaper bag but the woman also explained why they’re not used often and that is because it is uncomfortable for the horse as its tail can get into the bag but mostly because the bag creates discomfort as it rubs against its legs while its moving. She also explained that they are not used in events such as rodeos or any other environment except when its required for a parade. Again, this is because it brings discomfort for the horse. After watching this video, it gave me better perspective as to why these bags are not seen so often and ideas on how to make it better and more comfortable so they are used more often in not so rural areas.
