After sharing the horse manure pooper scooper idea with Mr. Wagoner, he suggested that I look for any existing products. After doing a google search, these are the pictures that I found. As you can tell, the main product is basically a bag that attaches to the horses butt so the manure falls directly in; however, it might be because I haven’t directly noticed before but I have never seen a horse-n-buggy with one of these gadgets and it made me wonder why. (Could be uncomfortable, inconvenient, or expensive) My goal moving forward is looking into how the existing product works, is made, cost, its convenience, etc. and thinking of how I could make it better using a 3D printer. My initial thought was to create a tray the attached underneath the buggy and extends to just underneath the butt. I hoped to make visual representation of this. Chances of this actually being a better solution are very low haha but with research I hope to find a better way to make it work.
