Today I tried to tackle the struggle of finding a superconductor. Let me say, it is difficult and they are expensive! I searched the internet as well as amazon and eBay for superconductors or Yttrium barium copper oxide which was used as a superconductor in a video a shared last week (October 27). I came across a few sites that sold superconductivity kits; however, they started from ridiculous prices of $600.00 and up! I even saw a kit that cost $6,000. Linked below are some of the sites that I looked at but I had no luck. Yesterday, Mr. Wagoner and I tried to look for superconductors but again we couldn’t find anything that was within a reasonable price. The only thing that is holding me back from moving forward is finding a superconductor which I hope to do so this week. Hopefully I will make more progress tomorrow.

This site is perfect for shopping for anything related to Maglev but the prices are just bizarre!
When searching on Amazon for a superconductor, this “Economy Superconductivity Kit” was the best option which should work but it is $77; the cheapest option I have found thus far.

The site above sells “Superconductive Rods”; however, because they are circular and tall they will not be the most functional to travel along the magnetic track. I want to ask Mr. Snell if it is possible to cut it down to make it small and then use it as a superconductor but again these rods are way to expensive.

Linked above is a “Super rare limited run superconductor mini chill pill magnetic EDC fidget” that I found on eBay. There is no description to the product but I want to show it to my teachers and see if it would work as the superconductor. It is only $1! Seems a little too cheap to be legit.
