Today I took to Amazon to look for the items that I need for the experiment which are:
- A metal sheet for the magnets to lay on (steel/metal)
- Neodymium magnets
- A superconductor
It may seem silly, but throughout this whole process I am still unsure about the creation or finding of a superconductor. Knowing that elements exhibit superconductivity once they have reached a temperature of below 183 degrees Celsius, I found this picture which shows at what states an element becomes superconductive. I have found that the main superconductive elements are mercury, zinc, vanadium, tin, etc.
