Earlier before, I skimmed over the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 superconductors and decided to return to completely understand this concept. The main difference between them is how the breakdown of the Meissner Effect occurs. In Type 1 the magnetic field cannot penetrate into the material whereas it can for a Type 2 superconductor.
