Today I continued research into magnets and focused on reading articles and gathering information. Linked below is a website that provided the most detail for my concept. For each fact, I was able to picture my concept and how it would apply as it included information of what a magnetic field is, the strength of magnets, the attraction of poles, and the fact the Earth itself is one big giant magnet! After reading this article, I want to look into electromagnets which are not magnetic all the time but just electricity passing through a nail wrapped in copper wire; which then becomes magnetic.
