Today in class we continued to brainstorm more problems and more solutions. We flipped the process backwards and looked at issues that have already been fixed or become more effective, either very simple or complex. The first thought that came to mind was the Amber Alert which helped with child abductions by alerting the public quickly when a child has been taken and what people should look for to help find them, such as a specific car or license plate. Over the weekend I though about any ways my family has repurposed or reused something to make it more effective. From previous material we had from a fence around our garden, my dad was able to make a makeshift fence for the meantime which helps keep my niece in the background rather than running off on her own. By continuing through our everyday lives, we unconsciously think of new solutions to old problems. Until next time!
